Tackling health inequalities in the East of England
So far, £11 million has been raised through The Health Lottery in the East of England.
Thanks to this money, 257 of local projects have been funded by People’s Health Trust since 2011.
Health Lottery East raises money to help reduce health inequalities across its area. It does this by promoting its own regional lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust, to develop local interventions.
We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invest these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.
Thanks to money raised so far, projects such as Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Young Carers Project, Mind The Gap Music Group, SOCIETY ALIVE and The Voice cLoud all received much-needed support.
Health Lottery East has its draws on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout December. Click here to play The Health Lottery.
